Part Time Associates
Basic Function:
Otis is looking for a team player who is punctual, reliable and very consistent. Works in a safe manner at all times and performs at a fast pace with minimum/no quality issues. Adapts to constant change with ease, can work well with all different types of personalities and people and always approaches work with a positive attitude. Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing, and can understand and follow basic direction.
Responsibilities:
• Demonstrates safe work practices at all times
• Always focuses on the quality of the product
• Consistently demonstrates a high level of productivity
• Embraces Lean Manufacturing concepts
• Adheres to all Company policies and procedures
• Maintains all required record-keeping and reports as necessary.


Staff Accountant

Basic Function:
To lead the periodic closing of the financial books and records as a strong individual contributor and provide support to the Controller / Chief Financial Officer in the areas of general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, capital expenditures, policy & procedures and special projects.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible person for accounts receivable and sales invoicing tasks
• Support the monthly closing process
• Support accounts payable function
• Creates various sales reports and other metrics as necessary
• Supports cost accounting activities
• Supports accounting information systems (IT) as necessary
• Coordinate and assist with annual inventory valuation
• Provides capital spending tracking
• Assists with software implementations
• Assists with special projects as required


Key Competencies:
• Knowledge of accounting (GAAP), finance, IT and general business principles
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail
• Ability to interact and communicate (both orally and in writing) with all levels of employees within the business
• Maintain an appropriate level of professional conduct in fact and appearance
• Ability to grow professionally

Job Qualifications:

• Two year AS in accounting/finance. Four year BS in accounting/finance preferred
• Successful candidate would be expected to have a flexible schedule and ability to work extended hours during month end close & special projects, as needed


Executive Assistant
Basic Function:
Provide corporate support and independently manage a variety of legal, regulatory & administration functions.

Legal/Regulatory Responsibilities:
• Manage relationships with outside legal
• Serve as liaison for corporate legal matters
• Maintain contracts and agreements
• Manage intellectual property matters

Administration Responsibilities:
• Serve as back up for Human Resources & Payroll
• Provide support to the Finance team and assist with the monthly closing process
• Provide administrative support for Controller, CEO & Board
• Manage & schedule appointments, conference calls and meetings
• Assist with company meetings and employee events
• Serve as Export Compliance Manager
• Serve as Corporate Secretary
• Manage Federal Firearm’s License and Special Tax Stamps
• Assist with departmental projects and initiatives as needed


Minimum Qualifications and Experience: (Education and Training)
• College education is preferred
• 2-3 years of office experience
• Certified Notary Public in the State of New York preferred


Customer Sales/Inside Sales Manager
Basic Function:
To maintain excellent customer service by assisting customers with detailed information on Otis products and proper cleaning procedures as well as assisting office/sales personnel with various tasks. Responsible for all overseeing a group of Customer Service Representatives.

Responsibilities:
• Accountable for driving developmental and procedural related projects, keeping within Otis policy parameters
• Maintains up to date work instructions, SOP's and/or JIB’s in order to perform specific job requirements
• Documents correspondence according to Otis Policy
• Champion of workplace safety
• Maximizes operational quality, productivity and processes-particularly order entry accuracy and efficiency
• Drives Lean Office concepts
• Implements and enforces Company policies and procedures
• Drives proactive and effective interactions and communication with other departments
• Maintains customer service training materials and all associated record keeping to meet all applicable compliance standards
• Ultimately responsible for "best-in-class" experience for all customers
• Stays abreast of current industry related news and pursues educational opportunities in order to become more knowledgeable of the Hunting and Sporting Industry, Law Enforcement and Military firearms and their requirements
• Assists in managing, hiring, and disciplining all customer service representatives
• Coaches, set expectations and provides performance feedback


Key Competencies:
• Duties as project manager or project team member as appointed
• Advanced coaching, counseling, consulting and teambuilding skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate with individuals or groups at all levels within the organization
• Advanced time management skills
• Analytical with demonstrated problem solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Advanced interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to teach, coach and train individuals
• Ability to delegate responsibilities and perform under pressure

• Punctual and highly reliable
• Process owner/top management member for AS/ISO
• Participation in top management meetings in regard but not limited to the implemented QMS or additional/special meetings as needed due to business issues


Minimum Qualifications and Experience: (Education and Training)
• Associate’s Degree (or equivalent experience, training) required
• Experience working in a “Lean” environment a plus
• Experience managing people a plus
• CRM proficiency preferred
• Customer Service background preferred
